Tara McCafferty is a financial services professional with more than 26 years of experience helping individuals and families prepare for a confident retirement. She specializes in retirement income planning, risk management, and strategies designed to help clients turn their savings into sustainable income.
Prior to working with Upward Wealth Group Tara served as a Regional Sales Vice President with Brighthouse Financial (formerly MetLife Investors), where she partnered with financial professionals throughout South Florida to design retirement income solutions for their clients.
Earlier in her career, Tara held senior distribution roles with Integrity Viking Funds and John Hancock, where she worked closely with advisors on annuities, mutual funds, and college savings strategies. Through these roles she gained extensive experience in retirement planning, portfolio solutions, and helping advisors navigate complex financial decisions.
Tara earned her bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and resides in Pompano Beach, Florida, where she is active with her 12 year old son and in the local community.
